Night Shift is available for iOS users on an iPhone 5s or iPad 5th generation or newer. It’s easy to do and can make your screen have a warmer, less harsh colour tone. While the instructions below are from an iPhone, the instructions for on iPad are identical.

Step 1: Go to settings

Step 2: Go to Display & Brightness

Step 3: Select Night Shift

Step 4: Set a time for Night Shift to come on.

You might want to change the time to come on only in the evenings. Alternatively, if you want Night Shift mode activated permanently, set the time in such a way that it’s off for one minute in the day.
